Susan Shin, piano

Susan Shin has made solo appearances with the Hartt Symphony Orchestra, the Syracuse University Symphony Orchestra, and the Torrington Civic Symphony. Recently, she won the Emerson String Quartet competition, and she will be performing the Dvorak Piano Quintet with them this spring. She is a 1996 magna cum laude graduate of Harvard College. In 1999 she received her Master's Degree from The Hartt Schoo, and last year she was a teaching fellow there. She is currently a member of the 20/20 honors chamber music program, and a candidate for the Artist Diploma. She studies with Luiz de Moura Castro.
